Current Practice
Kiana's practice focuses on high asset divorce cases and contested custody issues. She has represented clients in issues involving valuation of businesses, stock options, and division of limited partnerships. She has effectively represented parents in contested custody cases, including move-away disputes. She has helped clients at all stages of the divorce process, from collaborative divorce to settlement conferences to trial.
Kiana has a "hands-on" thorough approach that involves educating you about your options, providing you her recommendations, and allowing you to make educated decisions about your future. Kiana's combination of litigation experience, negotiation skills, and business acumen enable her to generate tailored, problem-solving solutions for her clients. After graduating from Cornell Law School, Kiana was a business litigator at one of the nation's top law firms, Reed Smith. Prior to founding Moradi Saslaw, Kiana practiced at Hanson Crawford Family Law Group, where she specialized in divorce matters involving complex financial and custody issues.
Kiana helps her clients in all forms of the divorce process, including litigation, mediation, and collaborative divorce. She also mediates divorce cases. She received over 200 hours of mediation/negotiation training. She has also served as mediator in several courts and for the California Academy of Mediation Professionals.
