Kiana Moradi has an unquestionable understanding of Bay Area family law, which includes partnership interests, startup economics, and custody disagreements, especially as they relate to the specific needs and understandings of the San Francisco area.
I would highly recommend them for just about any situation.
After a terrible 6+ year custody battle, Jennifer came in and redirected the focus of the case back to the children. She was focused, determined and handled the situation professionally. Jennifer was able to normalize and resolve a very difficult situation and it has remained so for 2+ years. Needless to say, I highly recommend her.
He was professional, prepared, and present while offering a personal touch during matters of sensitivity and distress. Although he was juggling numerous other cases, I always (yes, always) felt like Adam prioritized me and my situation. He was easy to communicate with and prompt about responding to both calls and emails. No matter how many questions I had, Adam took the time to answer them with thoughtfulness and care. I felt well-represented in the court room and appreciated the tone Adam maintained with judges, opposing attorneys, and his own staff. I emphatically recommend his services to anyone dealing with custody issues and beyond. Adam made an excruciating experience bearable; I am grateful that he was recommended to and represented me during this time.
She’s tough when she needs to be, but is also easily approachable and capable of navigating very sensitive issues. There were some complicated issues in my divorce and I was impressed at her knowledge of the law and ability to explain it to me in simple terms. I highly recommend the firm if you have any family law needs.
I enlisted the services of Moradi Saslaw to help with two different issues. The first and most difficult was in resolving a dispute related to spousal and child support in my divorce. My ex and I originally retained a mediator to produce our MSA and everything was “amicable” until suddenly it was not. Ms. Moradi looked over the original agreement, found and fixed several ambiguities and helped me abide by the settlement terms. I was never interested in hurting or denying anything to my ex, but at the same time i did not want to be taken advantage of. Kiana helpled me gain a good understanding of the law and produced an addendum to the MSA clearly stating the terms for support . Once my ex and I signed off on that everything settled down and we could both go back to our normal lives. The second more enjoyable task was in setting up a pre-nup. Having already been through the wringer there was no way on God’s green earth i was going into a 2nd marriage without laying out the financial implications up front. Kiana was great throughout this process. She helped me understand all the components involved and the trade-offs for each. We ended up with a fairly simple agreement protecting both me and my new spouse (that I sincerely hope will never be needed).
I benefited from the fact that Suzanne Tong and Jennifer Saslaw were incredibly responsive from a timing perspective and very knowledgeable from a legal perspective. My issue was one that was very time sensitive and ultimately required me to file an ex parte motion (which was granted) as to whether my daughter should fly across the country to CA for a planned visit with her mother. Because of the novel nature of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the question which I faced was one that had never presented itself in family law before, given the circumstances. Nonetheless, Jennifer and Suzanne were able to apply their family law knowledge to the issue in making a sound recommendation – which ultimately proved to be the right recommendation. My lawyer was unavailable at the time I needed immediate counsel on the above-referenced matter. it was precisely because of Jennifer and Suzanne’s counsel that I was able to act quickly in ultimately filing an ex parte motion. I experienced success in this instance because Jennifer and Suzanne were extremely responsive, incredibly knowledgeable and very practical in helping me think though my legal issue. Those are 3 key elements that I’d want in any lawyer with whom I work – and Jennifer and Suzanne far exceeded those expectations. What are you waiting for? Get off the fence! You won’t be disappointed. I would especially offer this advice if a potential client was dealing with a time sensitive matter requiring urgent and professional attention.
